How To Measure Tablespoons Per Cup

To start off, you need to understand that measurements here are typically done in volume and not in weight. So since a tablespoon and a cup are both units of measurement of volume, there is no need to derive the weight of the ingredient.

You also have to understand that a cup is equivalent to 16 tablespoons. So 2/3 cups are 10 tablespoons and 2 teaspoons since three teaspoons make a tablespoon.
You can derive the equivalent of 2/3 cups based on this equation by dividing the total number of tablespoons in a cup which is 16, by 3, and multiplying the result by 2. Better yet you can just simply refer to a measurement chart.
If you come to think of it, pouring 10 tablespoons and 2 teaspoons of milk just to get the exact 2/3 cup measurement would be tedious.

First, put a tablespoon of any milk or liquid in the scale, then multiply the result in grams to 10.67. This is how much grams is the equivalent of a 2/3 cup.
Here’s a clearer example. A 2/3 cup of water is derived by putting a tablespoon of water on the scale, which measures 14.79 grams. Multiply by 10.67, which is the number of tablespoons required to get a 2/3 cup.
