Condensed Milk Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup sugar cane or granulated, maple syrup or honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 tablespoon salted butter

Instructions
 

  • Whisk the milk and sweetener together in a saucepan over medium-high heat.
  • Whisk often and bring it to a simmer.
  • Simmer until the milk is reduced to a half.
  • After removing from heat and whisk in the vanilla and butter.
  • Allow cooling completely until you use it.
  • Milk prepared in this way can be stored in the refrigerator for up to one week.
