Hi lovely site.We have a problem. Our immune suppressed daughter has a few staph spots of her face. It was treated once with anti biotics. It came back. I had her try manuka honey, it helped and its back. She has a perfect diet, lots of veggies, almost no carbs, no sugar, lots of exercise, am trying silver. It was cultred, it is not MRSA.any ideas to rid it all togethr? She has tried a tea tree facial wash.
Hello did you ever find any remedies for you daughter's staph infection.?My son is having his 3rd bout on his face in the past 3 months.I hope you don't mind sharing, any info would be appreciated.Anna
Hi Anna, the staph infection was treated w clyndamycin. I gave my son a few doses of Silver orally and rubbed admixture of tea tree oil in vitamin E as described in my post. I also swabbed mine & entire families noses w an antibiotic ointment provided by the Dr. since we are likely carriers of MRSA. It's important to note that MRSA is a resistance to antibiotics so there is no "cure" but rather to be preventative by being healthy.
On a side note, I'm happy to report that my son is 9 now and has not had another infection since he was 2! Try the tea tree oil following instructions in my post! Good luck and best wishes!
Hi, Gwen!I love your blog. I am also from Phoenix area. Would you mind if I publish couple of your interesting recipes on my Russian blog http://rusamdiet.org/?I write in Russian for those who have issues with gluten and casein. They will appreciate that info. Thanks and please, let me know.
Just found your site and amazing recipes. I could not get your Honey oat bread recipe to come up though. Can you send me the recipe? Thank~ you, Shannon
Hi Shannon, that's really weird I can't find it either!!! Will look into and get back with you.
I would love to talk to you about doing a post about our MRSA group on facebook. I see your family has been effected, and we are trying to spread the word about the natural cures we are finding and provide support for those suffering. And It would be great to get that message out to your readers. If you would be up for it. On facebook you can just search for MRSA or The MRSA Resistance and you will find links to our group. If you are not already using garlic, you should. Our Facebook page has a post about it.
We do use raw garlic around here for a variety of health benefits! Thanks Christopher.
